Oscar G. Trevino, D.D.S.

drportrait.jpgDr. Oscar G. Trevino is a San Antonio native. He is a graduate of Texas A&M University and The University of Texas Dental School at San Antonio. Dr. Trevino is a member in good standing of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and San Antonio District Dental Society.

Dr. Trevino has practiced 32 of his 38 years of practice in Northwest San Antonio. He focuses on both cosmetic and family dentistry. He believes it is important to never stop learning and attends numerous continuing education courses throughout the year.

Dr. Trevino founded Alliance Dental Center in 1987 and proudly opened the current Culebra Rd. location in 1998. The beautiful freestanding facility uses the most up-to-date technologies, such as digital radiography, cavity-detecting software, digital scanning for CEREC same day crowns, and intra-oral photography.

When Dr. Trevino is not caring for patients, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Nora, and family. He also enjoys golf, racquetball, cycling and scuba diving.

Dr. Ernest Valdez

Dr ValdezDr. Valdez can provide intravenous sedation for our patients who may suffer from severe dental anxiety as well as during the more complex procedures he performs such as impacted wisdom teeth removal and dental implant placement.

Dr. Valdez is a native of San Antonio, Texas. He earned a BS in Biology from St. Mary’s University and his Dental degree from the prestigious University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School.  Upon completion of dental school in 1993, Dr. Valdez practiced dentistry in North Central New Mexico and Harlingen, Texas. In 1999, Dr. Valdez returned to UT Health Science Center Dental School and completed a two-year General Practice Residency with intensive training in hospital-based dentistry, oral surgical techniques, implant dentistry, advanced dental techniques, and intravenous sedation.  In 2003, he was selected for a faculty at the UT Health Science Center Dental School as a general dentist in the Department of Oral Surgery (OMS) where he held a full-time position as an Assistant Clinical Professor for 11 years.  In 2014, Dr. Valdez decided to leave the Dental School and practice as a general dentist.

Dr. Valdez continues to present continuing dental education courses in sedation and medical emergency management in the dental office for the UT Health Science Center Dental School.  Dr. Valdez is currently a member of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, Special Care Dentistry Organization, American Association of Hospital Dentists, The International Association of Clinicians and a founding member of the Lone Star Dental Sedation Study Club.  On his spare time, Dr. Valdez enjoys community service, hiking, and playing guitar.

Dr. Richard Hulme

Dr HulmeDr. Hulme is dedicated to providing exceptional orthodontic care to help patients achieve a straighter, healthier smile.  Dr. Hulme has been in practice since 2005 and has treated of 4500 patients with braces and Invisalign.

Dr. Hulme and his team have made a special arrangement with our office to provide a no charge, complimentary orthodontic digital scan. The scan will be conveniently performed at Alliance Dental Center for our patients of record. Should our patient decide to begin orthodontic care with Dr. Hulme, treatment would be at his nearby branch office.  Patients starting orthodontic care should be cleared of any active decay and gum disease.

Dr. Hulme is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and was in the first class of orthodontists to be board certified during specialty training.

Dr. Hulme enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, Boy Scouts (he is an Eagle Scout), church, music, and sports.
